We do not own nature. We are part of it. In the suburbs we are slowly destroying the natural world to make way for large homes, carpets of grass, bushes cut into balls and trees trimmed into lollypops. We have unknowingly endangered the birds, bees and butterflies necessary for pollination. My intent is to call attention to this emergency. I consider my work a visual voice for the disappearing wildlife in the suburbs.
